‘The Firework Maker’s Daughter’

Journey through Philip Pullman’s beautiful story with this curriculum as your child discovers how to tell and write brilliant stories, builds comprehension and inference skills and develops a grasp of grammar – all through the medium of literature.

This curriculum pack to accompany the book consists of approximately 30 pages of grammar, guided reading, creative writing and play ideas to support your child’s reading of The Firework Maker’s Daughter and is ideally suited to children working at an approximate Year 4-5 level in UK schools, although this is entirely flexible.

You will need a copy of the book, which is widely available, and can also be purchased here as part of our Story Box, which also contains character toys and prompts to help your telling of the story.
